Cefix 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the ear, nose, sinuses, throat, lungs, and urinary tract. It contains Cefixime, which works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately weakening and killing bacteria. Cefix 200mg is also prescribed for uncomplicated gonorrhea (cervical/urethral infections). It should be taken as directed by a physician.
